valdi

co-founder · one of the earliest neoclouds · acquired in 2024

i co-founded valdi to make gpu computing easier to access. the platform connected people building ai with available computing capacity in data centers around the world.

we focused on the practical work behind ai: finding the right gpus, making them available on demand, and giving customers a way to run their workloads without buying the hardware themselves. the platform supported training and inference, with flexible configurations for different computing needs.

valdi’s distributed approach brought capacity from multiple data centers into a cloud service. customers included research institutions such as caltech and usc’s information sciences institute. the aim was to make existing infrastructure useful to more people, rather than require every team to build its own.
